Chinese Boxer Rebellion Table Cover <p><b>A Chinese iridescent black silk table cover, woven with lotus floral designs using heavy gold and silver thread embroidery, dating to the late 19th century. </b> The cloth measures approximately 22 ins. square There is some loss of the metallic thread from pulls and wear over time but this does not affect the overall design. This fabric was brought back from China at the time of the Boxer Rebellion by the grandfather of the seller.
 

Chinese Red Silk Altar Table Hanging <p><b>A beautiful Chinese Altar Table Hanging made from iridescent red silk, decorated with embroidery designs of cranes, flowers and pine trees, dating to the mid 19th century.</b> This exceptional work has very fine hand embroidery in designs that represent happiness and long life. The hanging is made in two pieces of silk as shown. The overall fabric measures 38 X 38 X 7 ins. and has a red cotton attachment at the top with tie strings.
