Chinese Shagreen Eyeglasses Case A fine Chinese shagreen, or sharkskin, eyeglass case, measuirng 6 3/4 X 3 ins., dating to the late 19th century. The case is of metal construction with a polished shagreen surface. It is in fine and original condition except for the replacement cord.  

Boxed Set of 8 Chinese Inkstones A rare boxed set of eight Chinese inkstones, in their fitted box, which measures 12 x 9 ins., dating to the early to mid 20th century. Each stone is carved on the front with a scene of scholars that is highlighted with gold. The reverse sides have carved poems that are also highlighted. The second picture shows the different sides of two stones. The box has had some water damage and shows stains on the interior but it is intact. The stones show some loss of the gold highlihts but the carved designs are crisp. None of the stones appear to have been used. It is very difficult to find these sets complete, unused and with intact stones. A rare find for the calligrapher, painter or the collector of scholar’s desk items.  

Chinese Brass Butterfly Medallions A pair of Chinese pierced-brass, medallions in the shape of butterflies and waterlilies, measuring 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 ins, dating to the mid 20th century.  

Chinese Wood Figure of Lohan A Chinese wood figure of a Lohan holding fruit, measuring 6 in. X 1 1/2 in., marked CHINA, dating to the late 19th - early 20th century. There is one partial age crack in the hand. The piece is done with beautiful carving and has a lustrous, light patina.  

Chinese Turquoise and Silver Necklace <p><b>An elegant turquoise and Chinese silver bead necklace, measuring 16 inches in length, with beads ranging from 10 mm to 20 mm.</b> The pendant is made of hollow silver in the form of a fleur-de-lis, which measures 2 1/2” by 2”.
