An exceptional Chinese export figure, ca. 1920, of a girl holding a bouquet of flowers and gesturing with her open hand. The figure is finely modeled and decorated in overglaze polychrome enamels. The hand is particularly well done and in perfect condition. She stands approximately 10 1/2 in. high and measures 3 1/2 in. across the base. The base is open with two, raised medallions bearing the artist’s signature and the word “CHINA”. A beautiful, high-quality Chinese Export figure. |
