A beautiful Japanese silver wire cloisonne vase of a celadon green/blue ground color with roses on stems in subdued pastels of green, brown and yellow on a graduated cylindrical body, measuring 12 ins. in height and 4 ins across at its widest, dating to the Meiji Era. This vase came from a Missouri collector. Although unsigned, the style and quality of workmanship is consistent with the work of the great Ando Jubei or Namikawa Sosuke as illustrated in Cohen and Forster’s Japanese Cloisonne.
