<p><b>A Japanese bamboo brushpot or holder, measuring 5 ins. tall by 4 1/2 ins. in circumference, covered with Negoro lacquer, dating to the mid 20th century. </b> This fine piece is decorated with a carved design of bamboo leaves. It is signed on the bottom but I cannot translate the signature.
