<p><b>A Japanese black lacquer over pottery hibachi, measuring 10 ins. high and 7 ins. across the opening, dating to the mid 20th century.</b> The hibachi is covered in overall black lacquer and has a landscape design done in gold, red and white lacquer. There are some small dings as well as general wear and scratches in the black lacquer as expected plus one repaired 1/2 ins. defect on the reverse. This would make a very decorative planter. |
