A well-made Chinese I Hsing teapot with enameled floral handles, spout and ornaments in Famille Rose colors, typical of the turn of the century period. The teapot measures 7” end of handle to spout, 3 3/4 ins. high and 3 ins. in width. The base is impressed with “CHINA,” dating this teapot to the first quarter of the 20th century. There are no chips, cracks or losses, unlike many teapots of this kind. |
