<p><b>A Japanese blue and white Arita vase measuring approximately 9 ins. in height, decorated in raised panels of figures, dating to the ealry to mid 20th century.</b> Two opposite side panels have raised figures of a geisha and a samurai. The other panels are decorated in underglaze blue floral and vine patterns. The flared, square mouth tapers to a high waist, flowing into a tapered square body. A fine decorative piece with rich blues in original condition.
