<p><b>A Japanese studio charger, decorated with with a design of Mt. Fuji in hand painted iron oxide glaze with overtones of yellow ocher, a thick, rich Seiji celadon background and a frosted white mountain peak. </b> The charger is signed on the base in sometsuke. A lovely piece of contemporary modern studio ceramic. Measures 11 X 1 3/4 inches. No chips, cracks, or repairs but some kiln glaze faults on surface that are so loved by the Japanese connoiseur.
