<p><b>A Chinese iridescent black silk table cover, woven with lotus floral designs using heavy gold and silver thread embroidery, dating to the late 19th century. </b> The cloth measures approximately 22 ins. square There is some loss of the metallic thread from pulls and wear over time but this does not affect the overall design. This fabric was brought back from China at the time of the Boxer Rebellion by the grandfather of the seller. |
