A Japanese sake jar with a tea-dust glaze, decorated in overglaze enamels in moriage style with a samurai and caligraphy, measuring 5 1/4 ins in height and 2 1/2 ins. at its widest, signed and consistent with work by Kenzan. A crack in the rim has been repaired with gold lacquer technique. |
